SECTION 8 HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
OPENING OF THE SECTION 8 WAITLIST
The Port Jervis Community Development Agency (PJCDA) will be accepting applications for the Section 8 Housing Assistance Program beginning Monday, October 16, 2017 and ending at midnight, Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Beginning Monday, October 23, 2017 the applications will be available only at the following locations:
Port Jervis City Clerk’s Office – 20 Hammond Street, Port Jervis, and N.Y.
Port Jervis Free Library- 138 Pike Street, Port Jervis, N.Y.
Empowering Port Jervis – 11 Fowler Street, Port Jervis, N.Y.
Head Start – 31 West Main Street, Port Jervis, N.Y.
Water’s Edge- 208 East Main Street, Port Jervis, N.Y. (main office)
Port Jervis Department of Social Services – 150 Pike St., Port Jervis, N.Y.
Children’s Safe Stay- 2 Corso Road, Sparrowbush, N.Y.
Port Jervis Housing Authority – 39 Pennsylvania Ave., Port Jervis, N.Y.
All applications MUST be completed and MAILED to the Port Jervis Community Development Agency, Section 8 Housing Program, P.O. Box 1002, Port Jervis, New York 12771 and post marked no later than MIDNIGHT October 23, 2017.
Effective October 24, 2017 the open application period and waitlist will be CLOSED.
